Retraining of Racehorses Retraining of Racehores (RoR) is British horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing. RoR raises funds from within the Racing Industry to help support four centres nationwide which provide facilities for the care, training and rehoming of former racehorses. The charity also runs an ever expanding education programme, and sponsors a well established series of competitions in all the different equine disciplines such as showing, dressage and eventing. Ex-racehorses have shown themselves to be very adaptable to a second career, including polocrosse for which RoR also helps support with prizes to the best ex-racehorses participating in this equine sport.
